| We breed one or two times a year. All of our breeding dogs have been screened for Hip Dysplasia, Elbow Dysplasia, Hypothyroidism, and Eye Disorders (CERF) Our bitches are not bred before they are 2 years old. Breedings are planned carefully to produce sound dogs that are true to type. |

| If you are interested in a Whirlaway pup, we ask that you come for a visit with your entire family. It is our intention to provide your family and the pup with the best match possible. Ridgebacks can be difficult pups with some amusing tendancies and we like to sit down and explore all of this with you. We require that all pet pups be spayed or neutered. Our rescue organization is overwhlemed with unwanted dogs. There is no reason to burden them with the results of accidental breedings. We have a "Return to Breeder" clause in our contract that states that if for any reason you are unable to keep the puppy, the dog will be returned to us. We are responsible for every puppy we bring into the world and we never want a Whirlaway dog to end up in a shelter. All pups are raised in our home and are very well socialized. Puppies are examined by a licensed veterinarian before they go home and all are sold with a health guarantee. |
